Calum Hood Song Sorter

About Calum Hood

Before 5 Seconds of Summer, Calum was a kid from Mount Druitt in Sydney's west with a real shot at football - he even went to a training camp in Brazil. He met Michael Clifford in third grade and Luke Hemmings at Norwest Christian College, and in 2011 the three of them started posting covers on Luke's YouTube channel. Ashton Irwin joined, and you know the rest. By late 2012 he'd moved to London with the band and given up football for good. He's been their bassist ever since, and he's got Scottish roots on his dad's side and Māori roots on his mum's.

This sorter is his solo work, which so far means one album - ORDER chaos ORDER, from June 2025. Right now the whole sorter takes about two minutes, so you can rank everything before your coffee's cool enough to drink.

Start with ORDER chaos ORDER - its page has the story behind the record. Nothing's switched off by default, because there's nothing to switch off yet. No remixes, no acoustic versions, no live takes. When he puts out more, it'll land here.

One tip. With a sorter this small, every pick moves your ranking a lot, so try not to lean on the neutral button. If you know you'd skip one before the other, that's your answer. And if you misclick, undo is right there.
