About The Crux (Deluxe)

These are the 12 new songs from The Crux (Deluxe), which Djo released with no warning on September 12, 2025, five months after The Crux. He and Adam Thein wrote and produced them at Electric Lady during the same era as the original album. He's said it's an expansion with a new perspective on the Crux hotel, not a reissue, and not a double album. The lead single was Mr. Mountebank, and Carry The Name, It's Over and Awake came out in the days before.

It leans psychedelic and folky, with a lot of breakup songs. It reached number 3 on the Scottish Albums chart. There are 12 songs and the sort takes about three minutes. Awake was one of the three singles, so see if it holds up against the deep cuts.
