PRIMA Song Sorter

About PRIMA

PRIMA dropped on September 4, 2026, her debut album on Capitol. The title comes from prima ballerina, a nod to all those years of ballet. In her words, "PRIMA means 'first', which is perfect since this is my debut." She also said she wanted it to "sound exactly like a 22-year-old girl."

Blake Slatkin and Dylan Brady co-executive produced it, and Cashmere Cat produced I'm The Man. KGB came first, back in April, and it uses the Soviet secret police as a metaphor for how hard she trained to become a pop star. Therapy was written and recorded while she was really sick, and you can hear it.

Nicole Kidman started at a Golden Globes event she says she "somehow" got invited to, where her corset was so tight she thought, "I feel like Nicole Kidman right now." It came out as a single with the album, with a Hannah Lux Davis video full of Kidman's best-known roles. Ain't In LA was inspired by a photo of her mum at 18 in front of a wall of pop posters her grandfather smuggled in from Germany. It's the first song by a Slovak artist to make the Hot 100.

The album debuted at number four on the Billboard 200 with 56,000 units, and it went to number one in the Netherlands and Slovakia. In the UK it got to number two, making her the first Slovak artist ever to chart an album there. Nicole Kidman went top ten in both the UK and the US. Not bad for someone who got voted off a reality show.

Kiss Here, the bonus track, is in this sort and switched on by default. Twelve songs, about three minutes. Rank it after The Provocateur to see how far she's come.
