About BITE ME

BITE ME dropped on August 1, 2025. She announced it on May 21 along with its first single, Leave Me Alone, which is about her frustration with her label's demands and leaving College Girls. Mad followed in June and Why Is She Still Here? in July. I Think I Like You Better When You're Gone was a promo single the day before the album.

She recorded it at Julian Bunetta's studio in Nashville and Ryan Tedder's in West Hollywood, with Alexander 23, Omer Fedi and Emile Haynie among the producers. She told GRAMMY.com that Jagged Little Pill was her touchstone - "honest and angry" - and she's also cited Joan Jett.

It opened at number three on the Billboard 200 with about 64,000 units, her first US top ten and her biggest week yet. In the UK it went to number one, her first. Rolling Stone put it at number 53 on its 100 best albums of 2025. She took it out on the Bite Me Tour from September.

Twelve songs, about three minutes. I think Why Is She Still Here? is the one to beat. Compare it with Snow Angel.
