About her Mean Girls songs

She played Regina George on Broadway, so the movie musical was always going to be her moment. The film came out on January 12, 2024, with its soundtrack the same day, reworked by Jeff Richmond and Nell Benjamin. Four of the songs here are hers: Meet the Plastics, Someone Gets Hurt, World Burn and Not My Fault.

Not My Fault, with Megan Thee Stallion, was written for the end credits. It was recorded in a single day during a break on her tour, and it opens with a line sampled from the 2004 film. She performed it on SNL that January, and it reached number two on the Bubbling Under Hot 100. World Burn came out ahead of the film as a promo single on January 8.

Only four songs, so it takes under a minute. See where they land against Snow Angel.
