Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party Song Sorter

About Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party

This one came out in the strangest way possible. Mirtazapine premiered on Nashville's WNXP on July 23, 2025, and five days later 17 songs showed up on her website, behind a code you got by buying from Good Dye Young. They were gone in about a day. On August 1 she put them all out as singles on her own label, Post Atlantic, her first release since leaving Atlantic.

She made it with Daniel James, with Brian Robert Jones, Jim-E Stack and Steph Marziano on a few songs. It became an album on August 28, with Parachute added and two blank slots at the end. She said the track order came from a fan-made website where people shared the order they'd play them in, because she "really did want to shirk the responsibility." Good Ol' Days filled one slot on October 24 and Showbiz the other on November 7.

Mirtazapine is named after the antidepressant. Discovery Channel borrows from the Bloodhound Gang's The Bad Touch, Love Me Different samples Phoenix's Fior di Latte, and Zac Farro co-directed the Glum video.

It got four Grammy nominations: the album, Parachute, Mirtazapine and Glum. The Cure beat her in both alternative categories, and she said it was an honor to lose to them. In November it jumped from 173 to 12 on the Billboard 200, and Rolling Stone put it at number nine on its best albums of 2025.

Twenty songs, about six minutes. No notes.
