About Big Ideas

Big Ideas dropped on July 12, 2024. She wrote it in five short bursts between Juno tour dates, from 2022 into 2023. One week in LA gave her ten songs, and one in New York gave her nine. By release she'd told NME she had "gone in and out of being sober".

Solomonophonic is back, with Ethan Gruska, Kenny Beats, Knox Fortune, Carter Lang and Leon Michels. Benny Sings plays keys on Pitiful, and Aaron Maine of Porches sings on When I Thought Of You.

Cinderella came first, in March, then Toro and Alone in Miami together, then Motorcycle and Soup. She wanted Soup to sound built for an arena after seeing Coldplay at Wembley, and she wrote Just the Start alone in a New York hotel bed at 4am. Classic tour album.

It got an 80 on Metacritic, made number 15 on the UK sales chart and reached number 95 on the Billboard 200. Slay Bitch is the bonus track, and it's in by default.

Thirteen songs, about three minutes. Rank it against Juno.
