About Purrr!

Purrr! came out on August 5, 2014, and it's where it all starts. She recorded most of it herself over beats she found online - Iman Omari on Beautiful, Mndsgn on Nunchucks, Evil Needle on So High, Dream Koala on No Police, Yeti Beats on Control. The Fader called it "spacey, eastern-influenced R&B".

So High was the one that got her noticed. It went up on SoundCloud in November 2012, got her signed to Kemosabe at 17, and later turned up in an episode of Empire. She's since called it cringeworthy, which is very her. On No Police she "fiercely meows", according to Dazed. A sign of things to come.

Five songs, about a minute. It's the quickest sort she has, so you've got no excuse.
