About five seconds flat

five seconds flat dropped on April 8, 2022, on Harbour Artists & Music with AWAL. She announced it in January with all my ghosts, and the same day it came out she put a film on YouTube. The film was her idea, and the skeletons in it are there because, in her words, "heartbreak is like a small death."

Philip Etherington and Ehren Ebbage produced it, and it's a lot more produced and poppier than her debut. It's also got guests: Jacob Collier on erase me, Ben Kessler on reckless driving, Laura Elliott on weird and FINNEAS on hate to be lame. She made her late-night debut singing erase me on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in November 2021.

And then there's ceilings. It wasn't even a single at first. It went viral on TikTok, became her first song on the Hot 100, peaked at number 54 and went Platinum, and it finally got a single release in March 2023. That's when the album made the Billboard 200 for the first time. chemtrails is track 13, for her dad.

That November she played NPR's Tiny Desk with Tiny Habits singing backup, and listeners voted it one of the top ten of the year.

Fourteen songs, about three minutes. I think orange show speedway is the most underrated song she has.
