About Older

Older dropped on April 5, 2024, her first album on RCA. She said it's about who she became over the past three years, and it took about that long. She started writing it during the five seconds flat sessions in 2021, and Like It Tends To Do was the first song.

It was nearly done by August 2023, but it didn't sound right to her. Then she went to a Ryan Beatty show in LA and loved his band, so in October she took them into Nuffer Ranch in Pasadena and re-recorded a lot of it in two weeks, live, in one or a couple of takes. Mason Stoops produced it, with Ryan Lerman, Jeremy Most and Tony Berg.

The album was originally going to be called Vortex, and that's the song it ends on. March is track 13, the water one, for her dad. Bring tissues.

Older and I Guess were the singles, and she sang Older on The Tonight Show. The album debuted at number 93 on the Billboard 200, and it got an 85 on Metacritic. No notes.

Older (and Wiser) followed on October 4, 2024, with five new songs recorded at Electric Lady in New York. She'd already been playing Force of Nature and Spring Into Summer live, and Pushing It Down and Praying came out first, with ROLE MODEL in the video. They're all in this sort, which is 19 songs and about five minutes. They have a sort of their own too.
