Frank Ocean Song Sorter

About Frank Ocean

Frank took his stage name from Frank Sinatra and Ocean's 11, wrote songs for other people before anyone knew his name, and joined Odd Future in 2010. Since then he's put out a free mixtape, two studio albums and a visual album, and somehow made every one of them feel like an event. He's won two Grammys, and the wait for the next record has become part of being a fan. We're still waiting.

His mixtape and all three albums are in here - nostalgia, ULTRA., channel ORANGE, Endless and Blonde - plus the singles from Chanel and Biking to DHL, In My Room and the Side A versions of Dear April and Cayendo, and his Moon River. With the default filters that's over 70 songs, and the full sort takes about half an hour. It saves after every pick, so you can close the tab and come back whenever.

New here? Start with Blonde or channel ORANGE. They take about five minutes each.

nostalgia, ULTRA. and Endless aren't on Apple Music, so their tracklists come from Wikipedia, and their play buttons are greyed out because there's no preview to play. Novacane and Swim Good are the exceptions, since they came out as singles. You'll have to know these ones by heart. Most of us do.

By default the sorter leaves out the songs where he's a guest on someone else's track, and Biking (Solo), the version of Biking without Jay-Z and Tyler. Switch them on under Features and Extras in Filters, or rank just the collaborations.

One tip. Don't skip the short ones. Some of these songs are under a minute long, and I think a few of them can still beat a full-length track when you're in the right mood.
