Dressed Too Nice For A Jacket dropped on 2 November 2018, her first EP after signing with Atlantic. The title's from a line in In My Head, and it's about teenage nights out with friends, drinking "cheap wine through a straw." Relatable.

She co-wrote every song, with a different writer on almost every track. In My Head is with Fred Gibson, who you'll know as Fred again.., and Joe Rubel, who she's worked with loads since, co-wrote and produced Enough For You. They wrote that one in about 30 minutes, from a story Joe's driving instructor told him.

It's mostly piano and guitar, and she wanted it heard start to finish, as one story. Details is about hearing about an ex's new girlfriend, Architecture is about friends leaving home for university, and Feels Like This is the happy ending. Then there's You To You, her petty breakup song, which Cardi B's Be Careful inspired. Iconic.

In My Head and Details came out as singles in October 2018, and Atwood Magazine called the EP a "powerful, downright masterful introduction to the world."
