The Good Witch Song Sorter

About The Good Witch

The Good Witch dropped on 23 June 2023, a week after it was meant to. She apologised for the delay and joked that it'd work better as a Cancer anyway. She wrote it over a year on tour, and she's called it her "twisted version" of a breakup album, inspired by Greek myths told from women's point of view.

The tracklist runs roughly in order, "searching for balance between career highs and personal lows." Before it came out she posted a tarot card for every song, so fans could see what each one meant.

Body Better came first, in January 2023, and she called it one of her "most honest songs ever." Lost The Breakup and Two Weeks Ago followed, with her friend Gretta Ray singing backing vocals on Two Weeks Ago, and Run came out with the album.

It went to number one in the UK with 20,760 units in its first week, which made her the youngest solo British woman to top the albums chart since Ella Henderson in 2014. She played the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury the day it came out. No notes.

In October 2023 she put out a deluxe edition with six new songs that "slipped through the cracks," including Holy Revival and Yoko. They're all in this sort, so it's 21 songs and about six minutes. They've got a sort of their own too.
