Feed The Beast Song Sorter

About Feed The Beast

Feed The Beast dropped on June 23, 2023, and it's officially her debut studio album, even though it wasn't the album she'd planned to put out first. When Problématique leaked in 2022 and got shelved, her A&R Wendy Goldstein told her to "challenge yourself to the limit and go feed the beast." So she did, and that became the title.

It's a big pop album with a big list of producers - Dr. Luke, Max Martin, Cirkut, Ilya, Blake Slatkin, Ian Kirkpatrick and Omer Fedi among them. Coconuts and Hit It From The Back were both Problématique songs first. Thousand Pieces is an English version of Anne Linnet's 1988 Danish hit Tusind stykker, and there's a German version too, Eintausend Teile.

Alone with Nicki Minaj samples Alice Deejay's Better Off Alone, and it's as fun as that sounds. It went to 55 on the Hot 100. brrr came out first, back in January, and Unholy closes the album as a bonus track. The album went to 44 on the Billboard 200 and 2 on the dance chart.

At the time she called it "the most 'me' project." By 2026 she was a lot more honest with NME: "It is so not cohesive," she said, adding that songs were picked for political reasons. Funnily enough, that's a gift when you're sorting, because every song sounds a bit different.

With Unholy it's 15 songs, about four minutes.
