About Ashe

Ashlyn Rae Willson grew up in San Jose, studied writing and production at Berklee, and spent her early twenties singing demos in Nashville and toplines on other people's dance records. The stage name is her surname cut short, with a silent "e" for Carole King. Then she wrote Moral of the Story the day she told her co-writers she'd filed for divorce, and the rest of her career grew out of that song. Seven years later she wrote its "older, wiser sister", Stop The Wedding!, and it went even bigger.

Everything she's put out under her own name is in here: The Rabbit Hole, both chapters of Moral of the Story, the name trilogy - Ashlyn, Rae and Willson - The Favors' album with FINNEAS, and The Girl Of Your Dreams. The bonus tracks and stray singles are in too.

Her features are switched off by default. Most of them are the dance-music toplines from before The Rabbit Hole, and they're a different world from the rest of the sorter. Turn them on in Filters, or rank them on their own in Collaborations. With them off, the full sort is just under 40 minutes, and your progress saves after every pick.

One tip. If you only know the big two, do the Moral of the Story: Chapter 2 page first. It's four songs, it takes under a minute, and Cold in California deserves more love than it gets.
